Endoscopic Cryotherapy: Indications and Efficacy

Adler MD, FACG, AGAF, FASGE, University of Utah School of Medicine, Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Huntsman Cancer Center, Salt Lake City, UT been used in esophageal dysplasia and cancer, to treat bleeding caused by gastral antral vascular ectasia (GAVE) and radiation proctitis, and in other contexts. This manuscript will review the current applications of endoscopic cryotherapy as well as their efficacy and safety.
